MY JOURNEY INTO DESIGN
Growing up in small town Southland, New Zealand, being surrounded by beautiful landscapes since birth has encouraged me to appreciate stunning natural sites and have an eye for detail. I believe this is what sparked my curiosity in photography and film. I love the simple aesthetic of black and white film, its solid and clean colours creates a high-contrast look, similar to the light and shadows of our mountainous South Island in winter. I love the ability to produce work that can inspire others but also inspires myself to keep pushing forward. In the future I hope to use design to communicate, solve problems but also to express who I am.
MY FREE TIME
In my free time I often find myself with a guitar in my hand, creating and playing music in a Dunedin based band. My love for music is what makes my interest in live music film and photography thrive.
I love to create and design even when out of work, with my design brain moving into creating social media content for band events.
I enjoy exploring new places and will have a camera at my side most of the time to capture the places I travel, Especially if it is outdoors.
